Book ratings by Goodreads. My cousin gave me this elecyric when I visited him in the Netherlands where he was studying electric sound, and this book was used as a textbook, so maybe some people will find the content dry and academic. It does not assault the listener with grandiose ideas and self-indulgent technical prowess.
